Start training now to meet the challenge of the 3.4 miles of climbing at a 4% grade with 717 feet of elevation. The 25-mile route follows portions of the 100K course, offering the scenic tour around the Otay Lakes, before curving away from the steep incline in favor of long rolling hills and smooth flat roads. Beginning on the same picturesque route as the 100K, the 12-mile course is perfect for adults who are a little rusty or riding with young ones new to cycling. The Family Fun Roll & Stroll 5K (3.1 mile) route is fun for everyone! Joggers, walkers, strollers and training wheels are all welcome to roll and stroll their way to free refreshments at the rider pavilion at Eastlake Middle School.
